BUSINESS UNIT

The Search & Book unit at HRS plays a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions through HRS Connect, the company's flagship product within the expansive global corporate travel management market. HRS Connect specifically targets the rapidly growing and significantly underserved segments of corporate lodging, meetings, groups, and long stays. The unit develops, enhances, and maintains complex technology solutions that seamlessly integrate hotel distribution systems, Property Management Systems (PMS), Online Travel Agencies (OTA), and Hotel Chain systems into the HRS Connect platform. Leveraging robust connectivity, innovative technology, and data-driven insights, the unit ensures seamless connectivity, optimized travel spend, enhanced traveler experiences, and high-performance booking solutions for global enterprise customers.

POSITION

• A Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI-Native) builds production-grade applications and intelligent workflows with an AI-first mindset across the full software development lifecycle. This role is for an engineer who does not treat AI as an add-on, but as a core way of working across design, implementation, testing, documentation, debugging, and delivery.

• The ideal candidate consistently approaches work by asking whether a task can be completed entirely with AI or materially improved through AI-assisted execution, while still applying strong engineering judgment and quality controls.

CHALLENGE

• Full-Stack Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Java (backend).

• AI-Native Product Development: Integrate GenAI APIs and LLM-powered capabilities into core product workflows. Build agentic flows, tool-using systems, and AI workflow automations with clear guardrails and observability.

• AI-Native Engineering Practice: Apply AI-assisted workflows across the full SDLC - from design and implementation to testing, debugging, and documentation. Review and validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, and production readiness.

• Technical Leadership: Drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and champion AI-native engineering practices across the team.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• 6+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production systems, with strong end-to-end ownership of product delivery.

• Strong backend development skills in Java and/or Python, with solid understanding of system architecture, scalability, and production reliability.

• Experience integrating GenAI APIs, LLM features, assistants, or AI-powered product capabilities into production systems.

• Immersive adoption of AI across the SDLC. Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development workflows for scaffolding, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and delivery while critically reviewing outputs and maintaining engineering standards.

• AI-first mindset. Approaches every task by asking whether it can be completed entirely with AI or improved significantly through AI, then applies the right level of human review, validation, and control.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
