About the Role

This is a customer-facing technical role combining solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, and hands-on implementation.You will work alongside Account Executives throughout the sales process - from technical discovery and demos through evaluations, integration, and adoption. You'll help customers understand where Hud fits, prove its value in their environment, remove technical blockers, and move opportunities forward.Hud gives engineers and AI agents runtime context into how code behaves under real traffic, load, and failures. Our customers often operate complex production environments, so you'll need enough technical depth to understand their architecture, troubleshoot integrations, and earn the trust of senior engineers.At the same time, this role is not only about solving technical problems. You'll help shape evaluations, define success criteria, navigate stakeholders, and connect Hud's capabilities to the customer's priorities.You'll also bring what you learn in the field back into Product and Engineering, helping us improve the product, demos, integrations, and overall customer experience.This is an opportunity to join Hud early, help define the Solutions Engineering function, and work with a high-caliber team tackling some of the most interesting challenges emerging from AI-driven software development.If you enjoy being technical while working closely with customers, sales, product, and engineering, this role is for you.

Hard Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, software engineering, field engineering, or technical leadership rolesStrong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead technical conversations with both engineers and engineering leadersStrong discovery skills and the ability to connect technical capabilities to customer priorities and business valueExperience running technical evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-value processesComfortable partnering closely with Account Executives and helping drive opportunities through the sales cycleStrong ownership and judgment, with the ability to proactively identify blockers, stakeholders, risks, and next stepsStrong technical fundamentals, with hands-on experience in at least one backend ecosystem such as (Node.js / TypeScript, Python, or Java / JVM)Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting real-world application or infrastructure issuesAbility to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases, architectures, and customer environmentsAutonomous, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environmentFull-time, on-site role in Tel AvivAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

What You’ll Do

Own the technical side of customer opportunities alongside Account ExecutivesLead technical discovery, demos, deep dives, and customer working sessionsDesign and run evaluations and proof-of-value processes, including defining and demonstrating success criteriaGuide customers through integrating Hud into their applications and environmentsTroubleshoot technical blockers across code, infrastructure, CI/CD, and production systemsBuild strong technical relationships and internal champions throughout the sales processSupport customers from evaluation through successful deployment and adoptionCreate reusable demos, playbooks, technical content, and evaluation frameworksTurn recurring customer pain points into product improvements and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering on how Hud is positioned, sold, and adopted
