Senior Developer

Location: Hyderabad, India | Hybrid - 2 Days in the Office

About the Role

The Senior Developer is responsible for the overall performance of the product by applying principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software. In this role, you will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines - while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to the broader engineering team.

This is a role for a seasoned engineer who thinks beyond the code - someone who understands business impact, drives technical excellence, and raises the bar for those around them.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Develop complex code based on functional specifications; complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards, translating software requirements into design specifications while ensuring full adherence to technical and business requirements.
• Perform complex peer code reviews and analysis; provide insight on the broader impact of software changes, incorporate business value into technical decisions, and influence and guide other team members toward scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Create and apply automated tests and test principles - including unit tests - to software changes, and contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline encompassing test automation, security, and performance standards.
• Research and resolve complex escalations for production issues and software code defects to ensure application stability; implement development standards that ensure compliance with product and industry practices and regulations.
• Influence and lead on team standards and processes including planning, work estimation, solution demos, reviews, and implementation design discussions, driving continuous improvement across the engineering team.
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members; understand business applications and coding tasks to make recommendations for internal process improvements and product documentation.
