Strategic Finance Manager

Overview

The Strategic Finance Manager leads business strategy, data analysis, and alignment of financial goals with business objectives. This role is critical in the successful execution of the Company's long-range financial plan and provides data-driven insights in support of strategic initiatives across the company, including M&A. The position monitors trends and developments in the industry, economy, and capital markets, while conducting research and analysis of internal and external financial, business, and technology trends - including long-term financial modeling.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Maintain a detailed 3-statement financial model, valuation model, and other relevant industry and market models to support strategic decision-making.
• Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis of investment opportunities.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership on company financial performance, including metrics to help meet long-term growth plans.
• Develop forecasts and analysis regarding customer and ARR-related metrics, while providing thought leadership on the implications of these metrics.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
• Develop and present dashboards, reports, and executive summaries highlighting financial performance and KPIs to senior leadership.

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with 5+ years of related experience in a senior financial or strategic role, preferably in Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth environment.
• Prior experience in investment banking with a strong understanding of financial statements - including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement - along with strong financial modeling skills.
• Strong experience with FP&A and BI analytics tools, including Adaptive Insights and Power BI.
• Strong business partnering experience with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Experience at a Private Equity portfolio company.
• Excellent leadership, sound judgment, and business acumen with a track record of driving strategic outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis and industry benchmarking to inform and shape growth strategies.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $155,000. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate at the time of posting. The listed range may be adjusted in the future based on business needs. Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, and experience.
