Hype is a mobile trading app for memecoins.

You can think of us as a “jailbroken coinbase meets venmo” in that our users can buy/sell/send/receive ANY asset in the world that live on blockchains.

About you

• 4+ years of experience writing production software
• 2+ years of experience solving complex distributed systems problems and strong understanding of data processing frameworks
• Experience in building scalable and high-performance systems
• Interested in working at a small, fast-paced startup

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
• Strong Backend/Full-Stack Programming Skills
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with JS/TS stacks
• Experience with mobile development (React Native, Expo)
• Experience working on crypto / fintech products is a plus
• Experience developing Smart Contracts is a plus
• Experience in environments where you have to ship quickly. We move fast.
• Experience designing and building scalable, performant, and secure systems (ideally with a focus on blockchain or fintech)
• Experience working on a remote team with a variety of timezones

What you will do

• Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team
