Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a senior software engineer who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and takes ownership end-to-end. This role is for someone who has built real products in startup environments, understands trade-offs, and is excited to work close to product, data, and business teams. You will play a key role in building scalable systems, shaping architecture, and shipping features that directly impact customers, RIAs, family offices, and institutional users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale production-grade backend systems and APIs.
• Own features end-to-end: from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Work closely with product, data, and AI teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing speed, scale, and maintainability.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise overall engineering quality.
• Take responsibility for outcomes, not just code.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building backend systems (Go / Java / Python).
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of API design, microservices, and system architecture.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete requirements.
• Good understanding of data pipelines, async processing, and scalability patterns.
