Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Platform

We are building a distributed GPU-compute marketplace. Buyers launch GPU workloads and inference deployments. Provider nodes run those workloads through a Go control plane and a Linux-based Rust agent.
We are hiring a senior Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability as we move from validated paid-path drills to operating a real production fleet.
You will work directly with the CTO and will have broad ownership of production operations, deployment safety, observability, and incident response.
What you will own:
- Production deployments, rollback plans, and safe database migrations.
- Monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
- Incident response, post-incident analysis, and permanent reliability improvements.
- Infrastructure as code, secrets management, access controls, backups, and recovery drills.
- Reliability of the backend, workers, gateway, databases, and provider-node fleet.
- Fleet installation and validation for GPU providers.
- Capacity, availability, and cost visibility for production infrastructure.
- Engineering automation that removes recurring operational work.
Our stack
- Go backend services.
- Rust agent running on Linux GPU hosts.
- PostgreSQL, Redis, NATS and JetStream.
- Kubernetes, containers, gVisor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Terraform and Ansible.
- GCP and bare-metal GPU infrastructure.
What we need
- 6+ years operating production infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Strong Linux and networking troubleshooting skills.
- Production Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code system.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, logs, alerting, and incident response.
- Experience operating PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, or other stateful production systems.
- Strong scripting or programming ability in Go, Python, or Bash.
- A track record of building reliable systems, not only responding to tickets.
- Clear written communication and comfort owning an incident from detection through prevention.
Nice to have
- GCP or another major cloud platform.
- Bare-metal, GPU, NVIDIA, or high-performance-compute operations.
- mTLS, secrets management, security hardening, or compliance work.
- Experience with Rust services or agents.
- Experience supporting a paid, multi-tenant product.
This is a hands-on senior role. You will write automation, improve production systems, participate in on-call, and help shape how our company operates as it grows.
