About the Role

iBASIS is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Global CISO and work closely with the SOC team to strengthen the company's security posture. The role involves monitoring security alerts, supporting incident investigations, vulnerability This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional seeking exposure to security operations, governance, risk, compliance, cloud security, and telecommunications security.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations
• Monitor and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, email security, and firewalls.
• Coordinate with the SOC team on security incidents and suspicious activities.
• Support phishing, malware, and account compromise investigations.
• Assist in incident response activities and documentation.

Vulnerability Management

• Support vulnerability scanning activities.
• Track remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Follow up with system owners to ensure timely closure of security findings.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Assist with ISO 27001, customer security assessments, and audit activities.
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and risk registers.
• Collect and organize audit and compliance evidence.

Security Awareness

• Support cybersecurity awareness and phishing simulation campaigns.
• Prepare security advisories and awareness communications.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly security reports.
• Maintain incident, vulnerability, and audit trackers.
• Create dashboards and metrics for management reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC, or IT Security.
• Experience working with security monitoring or incident management tools.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 is an advantage.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, EDR, Antivirus, and Firewall technologies.

• Basic knowledge of cloud security (Azure or AWS).
