Squad Lead

Responsibilities:

• Building cloud-native, event-driven systems.
• Leading Agile squads.
• Delivering high-volume, real-time applications.

Squad Leadership and Delivery:

• Lead an Agile squad owning end-to-end feature delivery.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release execution.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery.

Architecture and Development:

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build event-driven systems using Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Contribute hands-on to critical modules and system design decisions.

Cloud and DevOps:

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS / Kubernetes environments.
• Champion CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps culture.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

People and Engineering Excellence:

• Mentor and lead a team of 5-8 engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Microservices and REST API development.
• Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ (event-driven architecture).
• Solid exposure to AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Good understanding of distributed systems and system design.
