Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI/ML Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, production- grade AI systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Architect, design, and implement complex AI/ML models and algorithms, including deep learning, generative AI solutions (e. g., LLMs, RAG systems) and agentic AI orchestrations.
• End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Own the entire ML lifecycle from data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
• Infrastructure and MLOps: Build and automate robust, scalable ML pipelines (CI/CD) using MLOps tools (e. g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working with AWS Lambda, ECS, and Fargate will be a plus.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into effective AI solutions and integrate AI capabilities into existing systems via APIs and microservices.
• Ensure that deployed solutions are used by business users as intended and drive RoI.
• Optimisation and Analysis: Perform statistical analysis, fine-tune models for performance, reliability, and efficiency, and monitor deployed models for drift detection and recalibration.
• R& and D and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, tools, and industry trends, and conduct R& and D to apply cutting-edge techniques to production use cases.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, participate in architectural decisions across multiple teams, and contribute to best practices and standards for AI development within the organisation.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, including hands-on experience building production-grade solutions and driving their usage with business teams.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Programming Languages: Deep proficiency in Python is essential.
• ML Frameworks and Libraries: Expertise with major AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e. g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and their AI/ML services (e. g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Technical Concepts: Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, data structures, and algorithms.
• Data Handling: Experience with large-scale datasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Experience with Generative AI and LLMs, vector databases, MLOps practices, and contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
