Senior Salesforce Developer

Job description:

In this role, you will play a critical role in improving and enhancing our Salesforce environment while managing the third-party solutions that interact with the CRM. You'll partner with our Salesforce operations team to build onto the mission-critical systems that are core to iCIMS' go-to-market success. Responsibilities:

• Modify existing configurations within Salesforce.
• Debug complex technical issues and deliver appropriate immediate fixes and long-term solutions.
• Lead projects and focus groups with the goal of meeting business needs in alignment with long-term corporate technology goals.
• Protect Salesforce data according to iCIMS' data classification policies.
• Design and develop integrations through native APIs and Mulesoft.
• Proactively address system errors to provide both immediate resolution to problems as well as devise a proposed long-term fix for the issue.
• Proactively ensure integrations run as scheduled and planned.
• Participate in testing activities of transaction systems, reporting, and integration.
• Participate in testing and validating system fixes and enhancements and assist with user acceptance testing.
• Assist with the configuration of existing applications.
• Enhance existing components of current systems (new functionality, queries, reports, etc.).
• Implement third-party products to work with the application.
• Lead and support various ad hoc projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of progressive experience working with Salesforce development projects and deep familiarity with the Salesforce platform.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, systems engineering, and business process re-engineering.
• Experience with system integrations, preferably involving Salesforce.com and Mulesoft.
• Experience with web services and APIs in Salesforce: REST, Tooling, Metadata, SOAP.
• Knowledge of data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleaning, and security.
• Ability to see and understand overall technical architecture to ensure system integrity through a high volume of iterative changes.
• High-level knowledge of project management, software development cadence, and a high level of demonstrated organizational skills.
• Proficient with Apex, Lightning Components, all Salesforce Automation Builder tools (Flow, Process Builder), and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio Code IDE, GitHub, and Jira.
• Experience with Agile methodology project organization (Scrum).
