We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making across banking portfolios. This is a techno-functional role involving business problem solving, advanced analytics/model development, stakeholder management, and team mentoring.

Responsibilities:

Understand business problems and identify analytical opportunities.
Build analytical models, insights, and data-driven solutions.
Work with large datasets across Python, SAS, PySpark, and Big Data environments.
Explore advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
Collaborate with business, product, and technology stakeholders.
Ensure data/model accuracy, governance, and performance tracking.
Mentor junior analysts and support project delivery.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Analytics / Data Science.
Strong hands-on experience in Python/SAS, SQL, and PySpark.
Experience working in Big Data environments.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
BFSI/Banking analytics experience preferred.
Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative fields.
