Cloud Security & Infrastructure Engineer (GCP/AWS)

Overview:

Seeking an experienced engineer to secure and optimize cloud infrastructure across SaaS platforms. You will harden configurations, implement monitoring and alerting, and ensure compliance with best practices across GCP and AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit and strengthen existing GCP and AWS configurations.

Implement IAM best practices, least-privilege policies, and key rotation.

Set up and maintain infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, CloudTrail, Security Command Center, GuardDuty).

Review and enforce network and storage security (firewalls, VPCs, encryption, buckets).

Configure CI/CD security scanning and vulnerability detection for deployed services.

Define and automate incident response workflows and notifications.

Collaborate with DevOps and backend teams to ensure secure deployments .

Requirements:

3+ years securing and managing SaaS infrastructure in GCP and AWS.

Proven expertise in IAM, networking, and security policies.

Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Strong grasp of monitoring and alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring).

Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC, ISO, GDPR).

Preferred:

GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer or AWS Certified Security Specialty.

Experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
