IT Support

The Desktop Support role will provide high quality desktop / technical support to users for business critical functions. This role will also build, deploy and manage computers and peripherals as well as maintaining the inventory.

ESSENTIALJOBFUNCTIONS

• Assist with day to dayIT help desk operations including desktop systems upgrades andmaintenance.

• Respondtorequestsfortechnicalassistanceinperson,viaphone,andelectronically.

• Provideonsitesupportforremotelocationsasrequired.

• Maintainhighlevelofresponsetoallqueriesbyallusers.

• Logallhelpdeskinteractions.

• Install&maintaindesktops,laptops,printers,scanners,&otherperipherals.

• Maintainhardware/softwareinventory.

• MaintaindesktopbackupsoftwareandAVsoftware.

• Orderandmaintaininventoryofcomputersupplies.

• Monitorspamfilters.

• Troubleshootcomputerhardware,softwareornetworkissues.

• Establishconnectivityof‘Smartphones’toappropriatecompany’semailsystemandMDM.

• Aidmonitoring,responseandinterventionforITrelatedsecurityincidentsandviolations,andsiteoutages.

• Maintainsmoothworkflowandadviseyoursupervisorofworkloadasnecessary.

• Otherdutiesasassigned.

QUALIFICATIONSANDEDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS

• 0-3years’experienceprovidinghelpdesksupportinanenterprisewindowsenvironment.

• Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 10 operating systems,Office365,andHP printersina networked environment.

• Abilitytotroubleshootandassistwithhardware,software,andnetworkproblemsinpersonandremote.

• Demonstrated positive communication and teamwork skills. Have the ability to multitask andprioritize.

• Stronginitiativeandtheabilitytoworksuccessfullyinanenvironmentwithminimaldirection.

• Abilityandinteresttofunctioneffectivelyasateamplayer.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position is in an indoor, office environment, requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, operate typical office equipment which requires seeing and the use of a keyboard.
