Duties & Responsibilities
OMPETENCIES:
- MS Office(Outlook,word,Excel, Powerpoint)
- Perform basic fire fighting
- Perfom basic first aid.
- Respond to hazardous and emergency conditions.
- SAP knowledge.
- Produce complex engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret instrumentaion drawings.
- Select,inspect,use and maintain measurement, test and calibration equipment.
- Understand and apply a problem-solving technique.
- Supervises electrical maintenace activities.
- Guides and assists Electricians with daiky maintenance activities.
- Maintans control of Electrical workshops,stores and main sub-stations.
- Analyses and solves electrical problems.
- Controls and orders stock for all parts,equipment and materials required.
- Designs and constructs Single Phase circuits and Three Phase Circuits.
- Wires and commissions three phase electrical circuits.
- Joins Medium /High Voltage cables.
- Applies soldering techniques.
- Writes technical reports.
- Supports and participates in change management initiatives to drive tranformation and optimisation.
- Particpates in regular safety meetings and makes recommendations to ensure overall safety.
- Grade 12 / Std 10 (NQF 4) is essential.
- Electrical Trade Certificate is essential.
- Electrical Engineering National Diploma is essential.
- Minimum 5 years working experience as an Electrician.
