Back-end Engineer (Node.js / AWS Serverless)

We are an IT company looking for proactive, communicative engineers to join a product team on a long-term basis. We focus on results and care about the growth of our people.

About the project: A cloud-based, AI-driven analytics product for financial data. The product is at the alpha stage. You will work alongside the product team to get it ready for release.
Required skill set:
5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
Hands-on experience with AWS.
Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless development.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
Good understanding of cloud architecture and scalability.
Will be a plus:
TypeScript.
Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, SAM or Terraform).
Experience in FinTech.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Development of the back end of a cloud-based solution on AWS.
Designing and implementing serverless functions.
Database design and query optimisation.
Code reviews and ensuring code quality.
Collaboration with the product team, front-end and data engineers.
Participation in technical design discussions.
