As a Cloud FinOps Engineer, you will implement and operate the technical capabilities supporting the FinOps model, ensuring the integration, quality and availability of cloud cost and usage data.

You will connect applications and workloads with the underlying cloud resources and services to improve cost traceability, understand consumption patterns and financial impact, and enable cost allocation, monitoring, reporting and optimization.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Cloud Financial Management / FinOps platforms.
• Integrate cloud accounts, subscriptions and data sources, ensuring information consistency and quality.
• Map applications and workloads to underlying cloud resources and services to support cost and consumption traceability.
• Implement tagging taxonomies, business dimensions, mapping rules and technical cost allocation mechanisms.
• Configure budgets, alerts, views and technical dashboards.
• Monitor tagging compliance and identify unclassified resources.
• Support technical analysis of rightsizing, idle or unused resources, reserved capacity and consumption commitments.
• Correlate consumption changes and optimization recommendations with application architecture, usage, performance and criticality.
• Automate FinOps processes and integrations using APIs, scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement technical requirements defined by FinOps functional roles and work with FinOps, Cloud and Application teams to turn recommendations into measurable technical actions.

• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Financial Management, FinOps Engineering or equivalent roles.
• Cloud administration or architecture certification, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Financial Management / FinOps platforms, including cost and usage data ingestion and processing, tagging and allocation models, budgets, alerts, dashboards, reporting and cloud data-source integration.
• Solid technical knowledge of public cloud environments, multicloud architectures and application workloads.
• Ability to interpret application architectures and technical dependencies and relate usage patterns to associated costs.
• Knowledge of compute, containers, databases, storage, network, PaaS/serverless and observability from a consumption and optimization perspective.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, automation and API integration.
• Knowledge of cloud billing and usage data integration, transformation and validation.
