Project Manager / Service Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project & OutSystems Services Manager to join a dynamic team delivering large-scale technology initiatives. This role combines project leadership, service management, and expertise in the OutSystems ecosystem, ensuring successful delivery and continuous improvement of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Coordinate and support multidisciplinary teams working in Agile environments.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove impediments impacting team performance.
• Manage stakeholders, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Monitor project performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to OutSystems architectural best practices and standards.
• Define roadmaps, capacity planning, resource allocation, and release management strategies.
• Track and analyze KPIs and delivery metrics to support informed decision-making.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience working with OutSystems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, administration, and platform best practices.
• Proven experience managing OutSystems environments, including configuration, sizing, upgrades, design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SDLC processes, deployment procedures, and release management.
• Experience managing production code releases and change approval processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and issue resolution across multiple technologies.
• Experience supporting critical applications and platform upgrades.
• Ability to monitor and optimize OutSystems applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Internet, and Intranet environments.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS (EC2) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft IIS.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Splunk and Elastic.
• Familiarity with GitHub.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
• OutSystems 11 Professional Platform Ops Engineer Certification.
• OutSystems 11 Professional DevOps Engineer Certification.

Languages

• Fluent Portuguese.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Spanish is a plus.
