Key responsibilities in your new role
Our
software systems enable complex, business-critical workflows that play a key
role in Infineon's value chain by directly influencing the time-to-market of
semiconductor products. These systems transform chip design data into
production-ready representations used for photomask manufacturing.As
part of our digital transformation journey, we are modernizing these platforms
to reduce manual effort, automate workflows through AI-driven solutions, and
embrace agentic software development methodologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and workflow automation solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Perl, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Develop innovative applications leveraging agentic software development methodologies and AI-enabled engineering practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, validate solutions, conduct user acceptance testing, and provide ongoing support
- Drive continuous improvement of existing applications by working closely with domain experts and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to the evolution of the system architecture, including enhancements to our event-driven ecosystem based on Kafka, enabling scalable and efficient workflows
- Analyse, design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring reliability, maintainability, and performance
- Support the migration and modernization of legacy applications through automation and AI-assisted development approaches
- Champion the adoption of AI-first and agentic engineering practices, helping maximize productivity while maintaining software quality and long-term sustainability
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development
- Experience in agentic software development, including harness engineering and qualityassurance
- Strong experience in traditional software development with:
- Python - Advanced proficiency
- Perl - Good working knowledge
- TypeScript - Basic proficiency
- C++ - Basic proficiency is a plus
- Experience in backend development, including Node.js, REST APIs, and database technologies
- Ability to work independently with a meticulous, detail-oriented,and thorough approach
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for exchanging technical ideas and engaging in technical discussions
- Eager to learn and contribute within the photomask technology
