Senior Staff Engineer

As senior staff engineer you will plays a pivotal role in defining ,implementing best test practices and leading the Wi-Fi & Bluetooth coexistence validation team. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, product managers, and test teams, to ensure that the Wi-Fi combo products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and interoperability across various environments.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead the Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Coexistence Validation team.
• Define and implement validation strategies, methodologies, and test best practices.
• Ensure product performance, reliability, and interoperability across diverse environments.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, product management, and test teams to drive product quality.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex coexistence and wireless performance issues.
• Drive test automation, process improvements, and quality initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to validation engineers.
• Support successful product releases through comprehensive validation and risk assessment.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• 9-12yearsofexperienceinWi-Fi/BluetoothCoexistenceValidation withteamleadershipexperience.
• Strongunderstandingof WLANprotocols,Bluetooth(BR/EDR,BLE,LEAudio),andZigbee/Thread(IEEE802.15.4).
• Hands-onexperienceincoexistence,functionality,performance,andinteroperabilitytesting acrosswirelesscombochipsets.
• Goodknowledgeof coexistencemechanisms,multi-radioconcurrencyscenarios,andRFconcepts (antennaandchannelinterference).
• ProficientinwirelessvalidationtoolssuchasIperf,Wireshark,andEllisysSniffers.
• Strongdebugging,root-causeanalysis,andproblem-solvingskills.Experiencecollaboratingwithcross-functionaldevelopmentandtestteams toresolvecomplexwirelessissues.
• Excellentcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.
• Pythonscriptingortestautomationexperience isanaddedadvantage.
