Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop Real Number Models (RNM) using SystemVerilog and svreal for Analog/Mixed-Signal IP modeling.

• Build and maintain FPGA-based prototypes for SoC and system-level validation.
• Drive pre- and post-silicon firmware validation on FPGA platforms.
• Debug hardware-software interfaces using tools like Vivado ILA and SignalTap.
• Create Python automation frameworks for simulation, FPGA flows, and CI/CD.
• Enhance and standardize FPGA prototyping and modeling methodologies.
• Lead FPGA modeling architecture and mentor engineering teams.
• Collaborate with global teams across digital, analog, firmware, and embedded domains.
• Support faster product validation and accelerated time-to-market.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong academic foundation in digital design, FPGA architectures, semiconductor systems, and embedded technologies.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualification. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.

[Leasing positions]We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of € 4.341,85 (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.

Canada

The candidate must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements; and/or (as necessary):

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
