Staff Engineer Software

Act as Functional Safety (FS) & Cybersecurity Engineer for SW product portfolio in ATV MC. Guiding the project with respect to technical methods for fulfilling the compliance to ISO26262, ISO21434. Support in deploying Safety methodology for SW projects at ATV MC.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Ensure that FS/CS methodologies deployed in the project are compliant to FS/CS standards and meet customer needs.
• Support to R&D to implement the methodologies efficiently.
• Makes technical decisions regarding FS/CS Engineering for the project.
• Well connected in safety organization and contributes to FS/CS Engineering on SW topics
• Demonstrate software engineering process expertise and development experience .
• Facilitate technical discussion and deliberations and drive them to logical closure. Bring up new ideas and solutions to improve existing process on FS/CS.
• Key customer interface to understand requirements and needs of the customer on FS/CS at the project level.
• Defend the FS/CS practices in customer audits and assessments.
• Engage with the FS/CS community internally on SW topics. Demonstrate capability through publications and presentations at various internal forums.
• Support the project members in Functional Safety practises, techniques, tools and methodologies. Support the project to ensure our processes, methods and tools are compliant with ISO26262/ISO21434.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Demonstrate technical knowledge/ expertise with more than 5 years of professional experience.
• Act as a FS/CS engineer in the assigned project/projects in SW.
• Support in deploying Safety methodology for SW projects at ATV MC.
• Analytical skills and decision making based problem solving

• Complexity of problems / solutions: Medium
