Python Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Python Developer to join our Infrastructure Development Team. As a Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, developing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our innovative solutions.

You will build applications, API backends, libraries and infrastructures which will be used by many other teams within Infinidat. These applications can range from small to large scale applications. The majority of development is in Python but some of it is in Rust and other languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure solutions using Python, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
• Full ownership over design and implementation of our web applications, API backends or libraries.
• Be in charge of constantly improving our infrastructure.
• Experiment with new technologies, find cool new ways of doing things.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Python developer.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience working with Docker.
• Familiarity with generators, decorators.
• Good knowledge of the Python standard library
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with popular web frameworks: Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong ability to make context switches between different domains of projects.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Development of distributed systems.
• Database Development with Postgres, MongoDB.
• Some familiarity with frontend development / JS/TS.
• Experience with Go and Rust.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD with Gitlab.
