About the Role

We are looking for a System Administrator to manage our Active Directory environment, server infrastructure, and core IT systems across headquarters and our casino locations. This role is responsible for keeping our servers, user accounts, and internal systems running reliably and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory: user accounts, groups, permissions, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and organizational units.
• Manage and maintain on-premises and virtualized servers (HPE hardware) including patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment: user provisioning, licensing, mailboxes, and security settings.
• Ensure server and system uptime, performing regular maintenance and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage backup systems and test restore procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Deploy and maintain internal applications and services, including virtualization/hypervisor management.
• Monitor system security, apply patches/updates, and enforce access control policies.
• Provide escalated technical support for server and account-related issues across all sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, AD structure, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with the Network Administrator and IT Manager on infrastructure planning and security compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server roles/features.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with server virtualization and enterprise hardware (HPE or similar).
• Understanding of backup/disaster recovery solutions and best practices.
• Knowledge of system security hardening and patch management.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and manage priorities independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Microsoft certification (MCSA/MS-102 or equivalent) is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.
