Position: Oracle DBA / Azure Database for PostgreSQL
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad, India
Job Function: Database Administration / Database Engineering

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. The candidate should have hands-on experience in database installation, configuration, migration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
- Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
- Monitor database performance and perform SQL and query tuning.
- Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and database high availability.
- Administer Azure Database for PostgreSQL services.
- Configure PostgreSQL instances, security, access controls, and connectivity.
- Perform database migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL or Azure PostgreSQL.
- Monitor database performance, resource utilization, and availability.
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve production incidents.
- Implement database security, patching, and compliance practices.
- Automate database administration activities using scripting.
