QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in web automation testing, Selenium, Playwright, REST API testing, and AI-enabled quality engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks, developing automated test solutions, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and DevOps tools.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and generative AI for test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, and automation optimization.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing and quality engineering.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Hands-on experience in REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps.
• Exposure to AI-powered testing platforms, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-driven automation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Finance / Banking / Wealth Management domain experience preferred.
• Experience testing digital banking, online banking, and wealth management.
• Trading or investment platforms.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing and modern automation practices.
