SAP Solution Manager - ChaRM

The core requirements for the job include the following:

SAP Solution Manager - ChaRM:

• Familiarity with the overall Solution Manager landscape and its components.
• Understanding of ChaRM configuration options (workflows, statuses, roles, and authorisations).
• Basic understanding of SAP system administration concepts.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide technical support to users on ChaRM functionalities.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ChaRM.
• Familiarity with the use of ServiceNow.

Transport Management:

• Experience in managing transport through ChaRM and SAP Systems.
• Understanding of transport routes and strategies.
• Experience with generating transport history or reports.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Effective communication skills to interact with developers,
• business users or other stakeholders.
• Documentation: Basic Microsoft Office skills; Ability to document ChaRM processes, procedures, or configurations.
• Creation of Production Release list, deployment project plans.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills to manage change requests.

TCB Team Responsibilities:

• Manage deployment activities to ensure changes go into production within the approved change window.
• Create and coordinate a list of changes to SAP teams, including monitoring ServiceNow Change.
• Request to ensure adherence to management processes and procedures.
• Review change requests in ServiceNow.
• Guide and assist users in creating, tracking, and managing change requests within the ChaRM framework.
• Documentation of Change Implementation.
• Coordinate and move in-flight changes during lower environment refresh or upgrades.
• Continuously evaluate and improve ChaRM processes and configuration based on business needs and best practices.
