System Administrator

An L1-level IT Support Specialist with hands-on experience in office IT support. Focused on end-user support, compliance with internal procedures, and ensuring the stable operation of IT infrastructure.

This is an L1-level position. Architectural decisions, server infrastructure, and complex networking tasks are outside the scope of this role.

Zakres obowiązków

• Employee onboarding and offboarding (workstation setup, equipment issuance, collection and tracking, basic workstation configuration).
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux (basic level).
• Installation, updates, and maintenance of application software.
• Providing L1 technical support to company employees, including handling user requests, performing initial diagnostics, and resolving common incidents.
• Selecting, purchasing, tracking, and configuring computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Diagnosing hardware issues and performing minor modular repairs (coordinating with service centers and monitoring repair timelines and quality).
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation on IT infrastructure and departmental processes.
• Supporting the physical layer of the structured cabling system (SCS) within the office, including workstations, network cabinets, and UPS units, as well as coordinating with contractors when necessary.

Wymagania

Must-have:

• Experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Engineer is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS, as well as basic Linux skills.
• Hardware troubleshooting and modular repair skills (PCs, laptops, and peripherals).
• Basic knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP principles, SCS fundamentals (cabling, patch cords, wall outlets), and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to clearly prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency.
• Discipline and adherence to internal procedures.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ServiceDesk / HelpDesk systems.
• Experience administering or supporting access control systems (Sigur, Hikvision).
• Experience working with VPN solutions (WireGuard, OpenVPN, etc.).
• Experience maintaining technical documentation.
