Financial Accountant
Our client a leading insurance service provider is looking
for a newly qualified CA to execute instructions received via processes within
the framework of the Finance Process Area.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (include but is not
limited to):
Accounting operations:

billings, accounts receivable, general
ledger, etc)
mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Preparation of the daily commission calculations
mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Accurately record all financial transactions on
internal database system
mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Reconcile transactional data.
mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Assist with streamlining and improving
accounting systems including assisting with automation
projects

within the Budgeting and Finance area

of IFRS 17
Financial reporting:

various processing areas.

line-height:normal;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo2" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Ensure that financial records are accurate and
compliant with the applicable standards.

line-height:normal;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo2" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Ensure invoices and statements are submitted timeously.

line-height:normal;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo2" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Assist with the preparation and analysis of
monthly management accounts.

Investco report

entity financial statements for the Group

various entities within the Group.

regulations impacting the financials, analyse their impact and assist with
facilitating the implementation thereof.

Credit control:
mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst">·Monitor and track receipts against arrear premiums.
mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Prepare arrear letters.
mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Assist with preparation of AOD’s and repayment schedules.
mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle">·Identify areas of improvement in collection process.
mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3" class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast">·Ensure that outstanding debtors balances are
maintained at acceptable levels.
