What You ‘ll Be Doing:
- Capture technical requirements and derive technical specifications for baseband physical layer functionality.
- Participate in System Design and System Architecture tasks.
- Participate in Physical Layer modeling, prototyping and design verification testing, with emphasis on baseband algorithmic implementation and assessment.
- Perform bit accurate modelling and generate implementation architectures for the target device.
- Implement algorithms in System on Chips (SoCs) and/or in processors, following established workflows.
- Participate in Design Verification testing activities in the lab and in field trials.
- Prepare appropriate documentation as required.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, with justifiable knowledge on digital wireless communications theory and applications.
- Established knowledge in Digital Signal Processing and/or Baseband Modem algorithms and structures.
- Experience with Software Defined Radio architectures and platforms.
- Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
Desired:
- Established bit accurate modelling methodology for algorithmic signal processing blocks.
- Experience in hardware-software co-development for algorithms and protocols development.
- Experience with embedded development environment such as Xilinx SDK/VITIS or Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio.
- Experience in embedded development tools (e.g. JTAG emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
