About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our growing Digital Experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, UI developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-performing websites and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Build reusable and configurable AEM Components, Templates, and Content Fragments using HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Develop backend business logic using Java, including custom OSGi services, Apache Sling Models, Servlets, and workflow processes.
- Create and maintain custom AEM workflows, listeners, schedulers, and services based on business requirements.
- Integrate AEM with external applications such as CRM platforms, e-commerce solutions, analytics tools, and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs.
- Configure and optimize the Apache Dispatcher caching layer to improve website performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring high application availability and performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment activities, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Follow best practices for coding standards, security, performance optimization, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Solid experience with :
1. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service)
2. HTL (Sightly)
3. Apache Sling
4. OSGi Framework
5. JCR Repository
6. AEM Components and Templates
- Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Knowledge of Adobe Core Components and Editable Templates.
- Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an added advantage.
