We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL & APEX Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, high-performing enterprise applications. You will join a collaborative software engineering team working on mission-critical solutions and complex business processes.
In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle-from requirements and solution design through development, testing, release, and production support-with a strong focus on Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, integration, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
What you'll do
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
- Design, build and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications.
- Develop integrations using RESTful services, ORDS, SOAP and related middleware technologies.
- Resolve production issues and protect data integrity.
- Support reviews, testing, releases, and documentation.
- Evaluate tools, including AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Mentor team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate with customers to align requirements and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of software engineering experience, including three with Oracle technologies.
- Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance-tuning expertise.
- Proven Oracle APEX development and customization experience.
- Solid knowledge of database design, data integrity, transactions, and secure coding.
- Experience with REST APIs, ORDS and SOAP.
- Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and modern delivery practices.
- Experience with responsible AI coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or Oracle BI Publisher.
