Supply Chain Clerk I- ODESSA, TX

Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field/department. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

• Creates requisitions orders for the acquisition of materials and services
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Assist in preparing spread sheets, special projects, and reviewing reports.
• Monitor and assists with vendor related issues.
• Provides routine administrative support.
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A total commitment to working safely and participating in all HSE programs.
• English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• General office experience- filing, faxing, copying, etc.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports.
• Must type 50 words per minute or more.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and Internet Procurement Systems.
• Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position for another drilling contractor of 6 months of service with Nabors.
