IQVIA is an American company formed in 2016 by the merger of the contract research organisation Quintiles, founded in 1982, with the pharmaceutical data business IMS Health. It runs clinical trials on behalf of drug and device makers and simultaneously operates one of the largest healthcare data estates in the world, covering prescriptions, claims and electronic medical records, which it sells back to the same industry for commercial planning and real-world evidence studies. Headquartered in Durham, North Carolina and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it employs close to ninety thousand people and combines the trial and data businesses in what it calls connected intelligence.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on reporting, visualization, and analytics best practices.
  • Drive process improvements and innovative approaches to clinical data reporting and analytics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical data analytics, visualization platforms, and reporting technologies.
  • Independently manage complex assignments and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Clinical Data Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role working with data warehouse environments in a regulated industry and clinical trial setting.
  • Advanced expertise in data visualization and dashboard development using TIBCO Spotfire or comparable business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong programming experience with Python, R, SAS, or similar analytical scripting languages.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and developing user requirements documentation.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial data structures, including SDTM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in clinical data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards and clinical data standards implementation.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced technical and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience serving as a technical subject matter expert in clinical data analytics, reporting, or therapeutic area-specific domains.
