Tech stack of Island Computing Services

We are looking for a strong Full-stack Engineer with a slight inclination toward frontend development while still being comfortable working across the entire stack. The ideal candidate should have strong product and platform development experience and exposure to high-scale systems and cloud environments.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 6-10 years.
  • Strong full-stack engineering capabilities (Frontend heavy - approx. 60/40 or 50/50).
  • Hands-on experience in building core product or platform systems.
  • Exposure to large-scale systems and cloud scaling challenges.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience working on AWS or GCP environments.
  • Someone who has seen real production scale and performance challenges.


Tech Stack:

  • Backend: Node.js / Java / Python / Go (Golang).
  • Frontend: JavaScript, React.js .
  • Cloud: AWS or GCP (hands-on experience preferred).


Ideal Background:

  • Engineers who have worked in both startups and larger technology companies.
  • Someone who has experienced high-scale systems and strong engineering practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or infrastructure-heavy environments will be a strong advantage.
