As a Data & Reporting Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global bank committed to fostering a data-driven culture through groundbreaking analytics and technology. You will support the Unlock pillar of their strategy, delivering value by developing advanced data solutions to enhance customer and colleague experiences, increase revenue, and optimize risk management. Your main responsibilities:
- Develop data technology solutions using Python, TSQL, C#, and other relevant languages to support strategic initiatives.
- Support technical leadership by evaluating and recommending data consumption engines and new technologies.
- Create, optimize, and maintain data warehouses and big data systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Design and implement secure, automated data pipelines and analytics processes supporting real-time and batch data flows.
- Deliver complex reports and visualizations within Google Cloud and/or Microsoft SQL Server environments, including Looker Studio / Data Studio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand process logic, and refine data architecture solutions.
- Monitor data quality, performance, and security across platforms while managing risk and solving bugs efficiently.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, TSQL, and/or C#.
- Deep knowledge of data lifecycle management, including sourcing, ingestion, data warehousing, and cloud migration.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery and Google Looker Studio.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data modelling, and automation of data pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Qlik Sense, PowerApps, Alteryx, or Collibra.
- Familiarity with JIRA and cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of APIs and feature engineering.
- Background in data self-service automation.

- English (Communicative level).
