As a Mid-Level Data Analytics & Reporting Developer, you will be working for our client in the financial services industry, supporting their data & analytics initiatives to enhance business insights and operational efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to delivering impactful data solutions that enable smarter, faster decisions and foster organizational growth.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop data technology solutions using languages such as Python, TSQL, and C# to streamline data processes.
- Support technical leadership by evaluating and recommending data consumption engines and emerging technologies.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data warehouses, big data systems, and automated analytics pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and implement data architecture solutions.
- Create and maintain real-time and analytical data assets, dashboards, and visualizations within Google Cloud or Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Ensure data quality through robust checks, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
- Drive projects by mapping out processes, managing risks, and facilitating team discussions.
- Solve complex data issues and bugs promptly, ensuring data security and integrity.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, TSQL, and/or C#.
- Deep knowledge of data lifecycle management, including data sourcing, ingestion, warehousing, and cloud migration.
- Experience with ETL tools, data integration, and big data systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and architecture design.
- Effective communication skills in English (communicative level).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, or similar visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Qlik Sense, PowerApps, Alteryx, or Collibra.
- Knowledge of R or Scala.
- Experience working in a financial or banking environment.
- Agile/scrum methodology familiarity and cloud migration experience.
