As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - DevOps & Automation, you will be working for our client, a leader in cloud adoption and digital transformation services. You will support global project teams by automating and optimizing cloud infrastructure, enabling secure and efficient AWS deployments, and ensuring operational excellence. This role offers a chance to shape pioneering cloud strategies and advance your career in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead major incident investigations, providing on-call support, and managing projects with junior colleagues.
• Collaborate with application teams to deploy their solutions on AWS.
• Develop automation and infrastructure scripts primarily in Python and Terraform.
• Automate routine tasks and develop scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Enhance security controls through scripting and infrastructure management.
• Maintain and improve compliance dashboards to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide 24/7 global support with rotational shifts, balancing support and development activities.
• Support the upgrade and development of AWS security features and best practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python, AWS services, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
• Extensive experience working across various AWS services with a security-focused approach.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proven success in enterprise infrastructure deployment and management.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Agile practices.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Terraform.
• Non-functional testing expertise.
• Knowledge of risk management and compliance in regulated industries.

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English - communicative proficiency essential.
