Roles & Responsibilities :

- Provide L2 production support for Mainframe applications, ensuring smooth and reliable production operations.

- Monitor production applications and jobs using SAR, and proactively identify and address job failures or processing issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application and job-related issues using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.

- Perform break/fix activities, incident investigation, and timely issue resolution within defined SLAs.

- Analyze and resolve production job failures, data issues, and application-related incidents.

- Use tools such as FileAid, FileManager, and FileMaster for file and data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.

- Support SFTP/Secure File Transfer processes and investigate file transfer failures, missing files, or data-related issues.

- Manage incident escalations and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution of critical production issues.

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Support application deployments and production changes using tools such as Changeman and Endevor.

- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for performance optimization and stability improvement.

- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, business, and other cross-functional teams for issue resolution and production activities.

- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide timely updates on incidents, escalations, and resolution status.

- Ensure adherence to production support processes, SLAs, change management procedures, and operational standards.
