You will work with a talented team of engineers, building the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products. Strong programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language, as well as knowledge of MongoDB and AWS, are a plus. A passion for improving education through technology is essential.
Missions
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement software solutions for Dictionary.com.
- Build and maintain the back-end wiring, application logic, and user interface for products, ensuring high-quality code.
- Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations.
Profil recherché
- Knowledge of MongoDB and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus- Modern best practices in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
- Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Passion for improving education through technology
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
