The Contracts Specialist at Jabil, Inc. will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and administration of various contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations. This role plays a critical part in mitigating risk and facilitating successful business operations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supply Agreements, and Statements of Work.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal, sales, finance, and operations to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and risk tolerance.
* Identify potential contractual risks and propose solutions or mitigation strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and ensure proper document management.
* Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any deviations or disputes.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to contract terms and conditions.
* Assist in the development and implementation of contract management best practices and procedures.
* Participate in contract review meetings and provide guidance on contractual matters.
* Support the continuous improvement of contract templates and processes.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
* 7 plus years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration, preferably within a manufacturing or technology environment.
* Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial terms and conditions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
