We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer with knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based MES applications that support manufacturing operations. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that improve production efficiency and operational visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces for MES applications used in manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Support MES modules such as:
  • Production Management
  • Work Order Execution
  • Quality Management
  • Equipment Monitoring
  • Traceability and Genealogy
  • Material Tracking
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production environments.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide user support when required.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Provide L3 support for Shop Floor / MES application incidents, service requests, and defects
• Provide on-call support following the “follow-the-sun” model, ensuring cross-region coverage and continuous production support
• Perform root cause analysis and provide effective solutions or workarounds to minimize production impact
• Support MES releases, patches, and deployments, including validation and business buy-off
• Coordinate with Site IT, Regional, and Global teams for issue escalation and resolution
• Support UAT, regression testing, and post-deployment activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Angular development.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • JavaScript
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • Typescript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Good understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as:
  • OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Production Scheduling
  • Quality Control
  • Shop Floor Data Collection
  • Barcode/PFC/Conveyor integration
• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of OPC, PLC, CAMX, CFX or industrial communication protocols is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
