Job Summary**
The Quality Technician II at Jabil, Inc. performs inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
Job Responsibilities**
* Conduct in-process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies using various measurement tools and techniques.
* Perform functional testing and verification of product performance against established criteria.
* Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
* Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and work instructions.
* Operate and maintain inspection and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality concerns and improve processes.
* Participate in internal and external quality audits.
* Train and mentor less experienced Quality Technicians.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Job Qualifications**
* Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
* Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., IPC standards, ISO 9001).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
