Jabil is an American manufacturing solutions company founded in 1966 and headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, and one of the largest electronics manufacturing services providers in the world. It designs, prototypes, assembles and ships products on behalf of original equipment manufacturers across cloud infrastructure, healthcare, automotive, capital equipment, packaging and consumer electronics, operating roughly a hundred plants in some thirty countries. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it increasingly positions itself as an engineering and supply chain partner rather than a contract assembler, taking on design, regulatory work and aftermarket services alongside production.
At Jabil (NYSE: JBL), we are proud to be a trusted partner for the world's top brands, offering comprehensive engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions. With 60 years of experience across industries and a vast network of over 100 sites worldwide, Jabil combines global reach with local expertise to deliver both scalable and customized solutions. Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.

How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Sr. Principal Technical Program Manager within the Intelligent Infrastructure Segment to lead the architecture, integration, and delivery of advanced air and liquid-cooled server rack solutions for large-scale deployments.

This role is critical in translating hyperscale data center requirements into robust, scalable, and manufacturable systems for next-gen AI/ML (GPU/CPU), cloud infrastructure, and network deployments. This person will oversee end-to-end rack development - from scoping and initial architecture review of customer requirements, through validation and deployment.

This person will also drive cross-functional collaboration, technical innovation, and continuous improvement across multiple datacenter programs.

What will you do?

  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary hardware programs - coordinating mechanical, thermal, electrical, networking, supply chain, and manufacturing teams - while aligning requirements, driving schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of integrated rack, network, and cooling solutions
  • Provides regular updates to senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams on the status of infrastructure programs, including risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Displays in depth knowledge of datacenter environment - rack integration/delivery, custom rack/manifold/liquid cooling product development, and related systems
  • Coordinate multiple projects and reconcile interdependencies among them
  • Drive decisions with appropriate stakeholders, eliminating roadblocks to resolve customer issues
  • Adept at managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating schedules
  • Collaborate with factory-based PMs to provide support from RFP through NPI completion of FWT
  • Manage RFP timelines, milestones, meetings, document repository, RFIs / ECNs and team up in packaging all RFP deliverables
  • Participate in customer engagements and site visits to understand deployment constraints (white-glove services) and gather feedback for design improvements.
  • Manage relationships with mechanical component vendors, including rack, PDUs, switches, cables, and packaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with compliance, shock/vibe, and certification teams to ensure mechanical designs meet global regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CE, ISTA, ASTM).
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field is required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in mechanical systems integration. This could include high-density server / rack design and integration, including end-to-end delivery for large-scale deployments worldwide
  • 6+ years of project management experience, involving scope determination, scheduling, budgeting, quality, risk and critical path management, cross-functional collaboration, and leading presentations with customers and stakeholders.
  • 3+ years focused on data center related projects, with preference on rack hardware for hyperscale customers
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - a must
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, integration strategies, and program management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative, self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural guides
  • Effective at presenting information and responding to management, clients, and public queries
  • Capable of influencing others and sharing best practices
  • Capable of assessing projects, articulating risks, and developing project milestones
  • Familiar with stage-gate processes in project lifecycle management (PLCM)
  • Able to coach and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
