Job Overview
Looking to explore a career in Finance? As a Finance Intern, you’ll rotate through different areas of our Finance team - FP&A, Accounting, and Project Accounting - to get a well-rounded view of how Finance supports the business. You’ll spend your time shadowing, learning new skills, and contributing to real projects. This internship will be onsite at our Columbia, MD office.
What You’ll Do
- Rotate across Finance teams to see the variety of career paths available.
- Shadow professionals and learn the “why” behind the work we do.
- Assist with hands-on tasks like data entry, updating reports, and joining team meetings.
- Learn to use tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and CRM systems.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Support reporting and forecasting processes, from monthly spend reports to utilization tracking.
Corporate Accounting
- Get exposure to accounting processes such as general ledger reconciliations and month-end close.
Project Accounting
- Contribute to meaningful projects like backlog updates, project setups, clearing account research, project forecast review, month end revenue close review, and general field operations support

- Current student in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Curious, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable with Excel and interested in learning new tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

National Pay Range
$25—$30 USD
