Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will join a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the financial services sector, focused on delivering and enhancing customer-facing solutions across multiple digital channels.

The project operates in a highly international Agile environment, bringing together cross-functional teams working on complex business processes, integrations, and customer journeys. As a Senior Manual Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliveries across multiple systems and applications.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Perform manual testing activities across functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing levels

• Validate complex business processes spanning multiple systems and integrations

• Analyze requirements, challenge ambiguities, and identify potential quality risks before development begins

• Create, maintain, and executetest scenarios and test cases

• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and quality issues

• Manage and report defects throughout the entire defect lifecycle

• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for quality improvements

• Prepare and manage test data required for testing activities

• Support release testing and production validation activities

• Ensuretraceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and methodologies

Expected competences and knowledge

• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing

• Experience with End-to-End (E2E), System and Integration Testing

• Experience validating complex business processes across multiple systems

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong skills in test analysis, test design, execution, and defect management

• Experience with REST API testing

• SQL Knowledge

• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence and test management tools (e.g. qTest)

• Experience testing applications built on the Pega platform

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, mortgage, lending, orfinancial services projects
• Experience in mobile application testing
• Experience with Splunk, BrowserStack, or similar tools
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and identifying automation opportunities
• Knowledge of WCAG/EAA accessibility standards
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working withinSAFe organizations
• Experience with GDPR-sensitive data and data masking
