Join a strategic initiative within the banking sector, focused on delivering and enhancing digital banking solutions for business customers across the Nordic region. The platform serves users in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway, providing modern web and mobile banking experiences that support everyday financial operations.

As a member of a cross-functional Agile team, you will contribute to the development, testing, and continuous improvement of customer-facing digital products. Working within a large-scale enterprise environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, helping to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of modern banking solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

We are looking for a quality-focused engineer who is not only passionate about test automation but is also open to expanding their software development skills and contributing to development-related activities when needed.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for both backend and frontend applications
• Creating and maintaining test automation solutions using Java, Cucumber, and Playwright
• Performing API testing (automated and manual) for REST services
• Analyzing requirements and identifying testing scenarios
• Preparing test cases, test documentation, and test reports
• Executing manual tests on desktop and mobile platforms
• Supporting CI/CD processes and test automation integration within Jenkins
• Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high product quality
• Utilizing AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and delivery quality

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, Java, and TypeScript for API and backend testing processes
• Hands-on experience with API testing (automated and manual), including work with WireMock or similar API mocking and service virtualization tools
• Good knowledge of Gherkin, SQL, Jenkins (usage and basic configuration), qTest, and Postman or Bruno
• Experience preparing test cases and test documentation
• Practical experience using AI-powered tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, and Angular

Nice to have

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, and IREB
• Experience working on banking projects or within the financial services sector
