Project

Join the Global Payment Capture initiative within the Embedded Banking service domain. The team is building a robust payment order orchestration platform that abstracts payment complexity, supports multiple channels, and enables scalable payment processing solutions across the bank.

You will work in a modern microservices environment, collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards for critical payment flows.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Work closely with developers, analysts, product stakeholders, and other QA engineers within a scrum team
• Analyse business and technical requirement s from a testing perspective
• Plan, design, execute, and maintain test cases for payment-related solutions
• Test and validate microservices across payment flows, including APIs, Kafka events, and database integrations
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Pythonand Robot Framework
• Verify XML and JSON data structures and ensure data consistency across systems
• Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing activities
• Report testing results, defects, and quality metrics
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks, and standards
• Contribute to testing community initiatives and quality engineering best practices

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience in software testingwithin complex distributed systems
• Strong hands-on experience with RESTful API testing
• Solid programming skills in Python
• Practical experience with Robot Framework
• Experience testing Kafka-basedevent-driven solutions
• Hands-on experience with database testing
• Strong understanding of XMLand JSONformats
• Ability to validate and troubleshoot data flows across multiple services
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, both manual and automated testing
• Familiarity with ISTQB Foundation Levelconcepts or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills in English
