Accounts Payable Clerk

Job description:

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timeously
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries
• Prepare supplier payment schedules
• Capture and process creditor transactions
• Ensure all supporting documentation is accurately maintained
• Assist with month-end creditor reconciliations
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and account discrepancies
• Maintain accurate supplier records
• Assist with finance administration duties as required
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong reconciliation experience within an intergroup environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities
• Experience working on accounting systems
• Exposure to the retail construction environment Advantageous
• Available immediately

Qualification:

• Relevant Diploma or degree in accounting
• Matric essential
