Senior Accountant

Job Description:

This role involves:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
• Preparing accurate customer quotations
• Performing bank, creditor, debtor, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Processing journals and month-end and year-end closing entries
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Partnering with management to improve financial controls and reporting processes

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in an accounting role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organisational, and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Qualification:

• SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA OR ACCA
